Java with Jesus
Welcome ladies to our summer home bible study series ‘Java with Jesus’! We invite you to share your first cup of coffee with the Lord each day.
We are kicking off the month of July by reading the New Testament book of 1st Timothy. Week one we will be in Chapters 1 & 2, week two we’ll study Chapters 3 & 4. Week three we’ll read Chapter 5, we’ll finish Week four with Chapter 6.
While you are reading ask yourself these questions:
What do I learn about Jesus?
What have I learned that was new?
What questions does this raise for me?
What is Jesus teaching me personally?

If you’re in the Junior High or High School youth group, July 9th we’ll be going to the Redding Water Slides. Cost is $25 which includes admission, lunch, and dinner at In-N-Out Burger. Bring extra money for snacks and equipment rental. Meet at New Beginnings Church at 7 am. We MUST have your signed permission slip with payment by Wednesday, July 7th. NBC High School youth group will be serving a meal at the Medford Gospel Mission Saturday June 5th. Meet at the Gospel Mission on Jackson at 2:30. Sunday June 13th, 12:30pm-2:30pm
All 1st – 3rd grade students (as well as those students moving up to 4th grade on June 6) and their families are invited to spend an afternoon at the 4 G’s Quarterhorse Ranch on Sunday, June 13, from 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. Kicking off the fun will be a short worship time and barbeque lunch, including s’mores. Then it’s on to guided horse rides with mini riding lessons, relay races around obstacles in the arena, and more exciting activities. Come prepared to experience life on a working horse ranch. Students are encouraged to bring unchurched friends. More details will be sent home with students and via postal mail in the coming weeks. For more information about the ranch, visit the website

Catalytic questions, raw discussions, unexpected twists, all in the island setting of Maui. This unscripted reality series captures seven young people from diverse worldviews wrestling through some of the greatest questions of life. What is the purpose of life? Why are there so many religions and can they all be right? What happens after we die? Each day, a new question was introduced by “the Preacher Man,” Greg Stier, triggering intense spiritual dialogue and a tidal wave of emotions.
Have any friends that don’t know Jesus? Invite them!

Hammerick Road in Central Point
All families of any child in the 2′s and 3′s class are invited to attend this Spring potluck picnic. We will provide main lunch dish, along with drinks. Families are asked to bring a side dish. Sign ups are on the window of the 2′s and 3′s classroom. Please sign up by May 9th to attend.
