Celebrate Recovery
The Next Right Thing…That is what Celebrate Recovery is all about. Over the last 9 months, as New Beginnings Church has adopted this ministry as one of its premiere demonstrations of sharing the love and hope of Jesus Christ, people throughout Jackson County have been discovering healing from hurts, hang-ups, and habits of various types and to varying degrees. Men, women, young and old have made decisions to follow through with doing The Next Right Thing in their lives, in an effort to uncover the joy of a life of transformation that God has created them to live. The miracles have been several and amazing. Lives previously unmanageable because of an inability to control ones temper, households destroyed due to the excesses of alcohol, relationships dysfunctional because of the intrusion of codependency, these and so many more hurts, hang-ups and habits of the human condition have been resolved for the sake and glory of God, in those who have chosen to do The Next Right Thing.
The spectacular aspect of this journey is that The Next Right Thing is an individual discovery, in that God has provided a The Way for each of us to travel, yet presented conditions in the lives of everyone that are distinct and unique. These conditions, wherever you mind find yourself, especially in the midst of pain, hardship, and seemingly impassable challenges are often the precise mechanisms that God uses to encourage you to another path, another approach. In discovering this approach, you will find that awaiting you is a Celebration…of the way your life can change, a Celebration…of the purposes for your past, a Celebration…of Recovering the relationship with God that He has always desired for you.
If, through life’s struggles, whatever they may be, you have come to the end of your rope, become exhausted by the constant draining of your own willpower and resources, and crave a new way of life filled with forgiveness, joy, hope and love, please join us at Celebrate Recovery. This is NOT a ministry set aside only for “those people” with the more common forms of brokenness, (e.g. alcohol, drugs, pornography), but a provision for healing from any behaviors, mental illness, struggles, and difficulties that have caused conflict in one’s life. We are a community of people who together are seeking God’s best for our lives, without any pretense, judgment, or condemnation. We believe, without reservation, that there is Hope for us all, and this Hope continues to be realized in the lives of those who have been drawn by the Love of Jesus Christ. All are invited and welcomed to take part in His generous blessings. May you find Him now.
We meet together on Friday evenings, beginning at 6:30PM. Childcare is always available. Shalom & much love to you all.
