Beginning Wednesday, September 23rd the youth group will begin a 6 week sermon series on purity. The curriculum is produced by Jim Burns; if your parents would like to see it before hand, please let me know. The series isn’t just about saying “no” to sex. That should be obvious! We’re also going to talk about the challenges in keeping our hearts, thoughts, and minds pure from sexual temptation. Some of the topics include: Is sex safe, renewing your mind for God, turning your eyes from worthless things, and keeping your heart healthy.
I hope you will join us Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8:00!
Don’t forget!! This Saturday, October 10th, the youth group is going to hike up Table Rock. Come enjoy a little fun and fellowship. Meet at the church at 5:30 a.m. Parents can pick you up at the church by 10:00. Bring a sack breakfast with you. Come join us to watch the sun rise and spend a little time in the Word!
