Weather permitting we’ll go sledding on Saturday, March 6th. Meet at NBC at 8:30 for a day of sledding, hot choclate, and good times! More details to follow!!
NBC Youth Group will be participating in the 1st annual Habitat for Humanity Rogue Valley Cardboard City. There will be many youth groups throughout the Rogue Valley participating. We will meet at NBC on Saturday March 13th at 9:30. Every group will have exactly three hours to design, build and decorate their shack. Throughout the build there will be “surprise” competitions to help win shack upgrades! All shacks must be completed at 3:00pm. Starting at 4pm we will have open house! This will allow your family and friends the opportunity to come and see all of your handy work as well as to vote for their favorite shack. Voting tickets will be for sale at the entrance to the area. Each house will have a bucket out front where on lookers will be able to cast their votes with their purchased tickets. There will be prizes for the Youth Groups whose cardboard shack’s gets the most votes. More details to follow!!

All are invited to join us for this fun event! Families are asked to bring their favorite soup and a dessert to share. The church provides rolls and a beverage. We have plenty of plug-ins for yur crock pots. Join in the Texas Hold ‘Em tournament, Bunko, or bring your favorite game to share. Excellent pies will be available to bid on, so buy your Thanksgiving pie(s) from our youth pie auction.

Invite all your friends and family to our fifth annual event! There will be music, drama, food, a raffle and silent auction. A great way to obtain some fun and unique Christmas gifts. Bring 3 canned food items and receive 3 raffle tickets. All food will go to Access Food Bank in Medford.

Beginning Wednesday, September 23rd the youth group will begin a 6 week sermon series on purity. The curriculum is produced by Jim Burns; if your parents would like to see it before hand, please let me know. The series isn’t just about saying “no” to sex. That should be obvious! We’re also going to talk about the challenges in keeping our hearts, thoughts, and minds pure from sexual temptation. Some of the topics include: Is sex safe, renewing your mind for God, turning your eyes from worthless things, and keeping your heart healthy.
I hope you will join us Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8:00!
Don’t forget!! This Saturday, October 10th, the youth group is going to hike up Table Rock. Come enjoy a little fun and fellowship. Meet at the church at 5:30 a.m. Parents can pick you up at the church by 10:00. Bring a sack breakfast with you. Come join us to watch the sun rise and spend a little time in the Word!
