Java with Jesus

Welcome ladies to our summer home bible study series ‘Java with Jesus’! We invite you to share your first cup of coffee with the Lord each day.

We are kicking off the month of July by reading the New Testament book of 1st Timothy. Week one we will be in Chapters 1 & 2, week two we’ll study Chapters 3 & 4. Week three we’ll read Chapter 5, we’ll finish Week four with Chapter 6.

While you are reading ask yourself these questions:

What do I learn about Jesus?
What have I learned that was new?
What questions does this raise for me?
What is Jesus teaching me personally?

Some Fun In The Sun – Redding Water Park

If you’re in the Junior High or High School youth group, July 9th we’ll be going to the Redding Water Slides. Cost is $25 which includes admission, lunch, and dinner at In-N-Out Burger. Bring extra money for snacks and equipment rental. Meet at New Beginnings Church at 7 am. We MUST have your signed permission slip with payment by Wednesday, July 7th. Harmony Hi-See has a heart for the lost and a passion to use his gift to draw people to Christ. Whether in a church or on the streets, God is using Hip Hop ministry to further His Kingdom. Often times this ministry is misunderstood…

Our goal is to spread the good news of Jesus Christ to a generation that otherwise would not step foot into a church.

Gospel Mission – Round 2

NBC High School youth group will be serving a meal at the Medford Gospel Mission Saturday June 5th. Meet at the Gospel Mission on Jackson at 2:30. Afterwards we’ll go to Fichtner-Mainwaring park to play a little volley ball and have some fun. If you need more info. call Matt at 261-2647 or send email to matt@newbegin.info. See you there!

1st-3rd Grade 4G’s Quarterhorse Ranch Activity

Sunday June 13th, 12:30pm-2:30pm

All 1st – 3rd grade students (as well as those students moving up to 4th grade on June 6) and their families are invited to spend an afternoon at the 4 G’s Quarterhorse Ranch on Sunday, June 13, from 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. Kicking off the fun will be a short worship time and barbeque lunch, including s’mores. Then it’s on to guided horse rides with mini riding lessons, relay races around obstacles in the arena, and more exciting activities. Come prepared to experience life on a working horse ranch. Students are encouraged to bring unchurched friends. More details will be sent home with students and via postal mail in the coming weeks. 2′s and 3′s Class Family Picnic

12pm Saturday, May 15th @ Don Jones Memorial Park

Hammerick Road in Central Point

All families of any child in the 2′s and 3′s class are invited to attend this Spring potluck picnic. We will provide main lunch dish, along with drinks. Families are asked to bring a side dish. Sign ups are on the window of the 2′s and 3′s classroom. Please sign up by May 9th to attend.

This will be a really fun time! Kids can bring swimsuits; there is a water spray park. Contact Nicole Leonardo for more info at 541.944.6351.

4th & 5th Grade “Giant” Day In

Sunday May 16th, after service to about 6ish

All 4th and 5th grade students are invited to stay at NBC after service on May 16th, for a fun and exciting time of food, games, worship, Bible activities, and more. We will provide lunch and snacks. Families of all students are invited to join in a potluck dinner to close the event at 5:00pm. Students attending the event will share what they learned during the family gathering. This is a free activity and all students are encouraged to bring unchurched friends.
