A Bible-Based Parenting Seminar

October 8th & 9th

The need for solid, Biblical parenting is greater than ever.  As a result of this expressed need, and in an effort to support families, NBC is pleased to announce Dedicated, our first Parenting Seminar.  Some of the highlights include fantastic large group sessions with our guest keynote speaker, Sherri Miles, Children’s Minister from Real Life Ministries.  There will also be a variety of small group breakout sessions to choose from, a Q&A session, and continental breakfast and lunch will be provided on the second day of the event.  Based upon our need for building space, there will be no childcare provided at this event.

We encourage all parents and adults who have influence in children’s lives to attend this seminar.  Invite friends and family members!  This will be incredibly informative and all attendees will obtain the support and resources needed to move forward in strengthening their families.

August 29th, 12:00pm-3:00pm

Join us for this fun, fellowship activity for the entire family.  After service we will meet at Don Jones Memorial Park on West Vilas and Hamrick in Central Point. Kids attending Sunday School that day can wear their swimsuits to our Beach Theme Party, but girls must have something covering their swimsuits and boys must have shirts on during class. We encourage our families to invite guests. We are asking that all families bring a side dish and drinks. NBC will provide hot dogs, hamburgers, and ice cream desserts. If you’re in the Junior High or High School youth group, July 9th we’ll be going to the Redding Water Slides.  Cost is $25 which includes admission, lunch, and dinner at In-N-Out Burger.  Bring extra money for snacks and equipment rental.  Meet at New Beginnings Church at 7 am.  We MUST have your signed permission slip with payment by Wednesday, July 7th.  Permission slip can be downloaded here:  Redding Waterslides.  Call Matt or Tina with questions.

NBC High School youth group will be serving a meal at the Medford Gospel Mission Saturday June 5th.  Meet at the Gospel Mission on Jackson at 2:30.  Afterwards we’ll go to Fichtner-Mainwaring park to play a little volley ball and have some fun.  If you need more info. call Matt at 261-2647 or send email to matt@newbegin.info.  See you there!

Sunday June 13th, 12:30pm-2:30pm

All 1st – 3rd grade students (as well as those students moving up to 4th grade on June 6) and their families are invited to spend an afternoon at the 4 G’s Quarterhorse Ranch on Sunday, June 13, from 12:30 – 2:30 p.m.  Kicking off the fun will be a short worship time and barbeque lunch, including s’mores.  Then it’s on to guided horse rides with mini riding lessons, relay races around obstacles in the arena, and more exciting activities.  Come prepared to experience life on a working horse ranch.  Students are encouraged to bring unchurched friends.  More details will be sent home with students and via postal mail in the coming weeks. Hammerick Road in Central Point

All families of any child in the 2′s and 3′s class are invited to attend this Spring potluck picnic.  We will provide main lunch dish, along with drinks.  Families are asked to bring a side dish.  Sign ups are on the window of the 2′s and 3′s classroom.  Please sign up by May 9th to attend.
